DairyPAC

DBA’s political action committee (DairyPAC) gives dairy farmers and allied partners a powerful voice on issues that matter to our community. The PAC identifies and invests in candidates who understand and support our issues.

DBA is in Madison and on the farm

Now more than ever, it is critical for dairy farmers, processors and partners engaged in the dairy community to come together to speak with one voice for the stability and success of America’s Dairyland.

DairyPAC enables us to support candidates who champion policies that align with our priorities. By pooling our resources, we can ensure that the voices of dairy farmers are heard loud and clear in Madison.

Every dollar contributed to DairyPAC strengthens our ability to advocate for sensible regulations, sustainable practices, and the infrastructure investments we need to succeed. Your support helps elect leaders who understand and value the contributions of Wisconsin’s dairy community.

In Wisconsin, DBA actively engages in the legislative process to advocate for the interests of the state’s dairy community. A key tool in this advocacy is DairyPAC, DBA’s registered political action committee. Under Wis. Stat. § 11.0101(25), a political action committee (PAC) is defined as an organization that receives contributions or makes disbursements to influence elections. PACs like DairyPAC operate within the framework of Wisconsin’s campaign finance laws (see Wis. Stat. ch. 11), enabling industry stakeholders to pool resources and support candidates who understand and prioritize the needs of agriculture. By contributing to DairyPAC, members ensure their collective voice is heard in Madison, allowing the dairy community to help elect pro-agriculture lawmakers and engage meaningfully in shaping policy that directly affects their operations and livelihoods.
